Saint Joseph Homeschool Groups

Little Flowers was created by Rachel Watkins, using The Catholic Girl’s Guide by Fr. Lasance. Little Flowers, ages 5 through 8, “gather and learn about their Catholic heritage, faith, and traditions.” During the meetings, “the girls hear, read, share, and learn about the Little Flowers’ role model – the Blessed Virgin Mary, the group’s patroness – St. Thérèse of Lisieux, saints of the Church, women in the religious life, and their own mothers.” (R. Watkins, Little Flowers’ Leader’s Guide, p. 4.) We use a number of Little Flowers’ materials and work on various crafts, skits and games related to saints and virtues to earn badges.
